Job summary

KOBELCO PRECISION TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD is hiring a Senior HR Executive (C&B - Payroll) in Penang to manage payroll operations, benefits, and HRIS records. You will ensure timely payroll processing, administer compensation and statutory contributions, and support HR analytics.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in HR/Business or related field with 3–5 years of payroll/benefits experience, strong Excel skills, and solid knowledge of Malaysian labour laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR/related field.
• 3–5 years payroll/benefits experience.
• Knowledge of Malaysian labour laws (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with payroll systems and HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage employee compensation and benefits programs, including payroll, allowances, incentives, and statutory contributions.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with policies and local laws.
• Handle employee benefits administration such as medical insurance, leave management, and claims.
• Maintain and update employee records related to compensation, benefits, and HRIS.
• Support salary benchmarking, market surveys, and analysis for competitive structures.
• Assist in developing and implementing compensation and benefits policies.
• Liaise with external vendors, insurers, and government authorities on benefits matters.
• Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and analytics related to payroll, headcount, and trends.
• Address payroll/benefits queries promptly and professionally.
