Job summary

Private Advertiser in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced HR professional to manage the full spectrum of human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and employee relations. The role requires strong knowledge of statutory requirements and precise record-keeping across HR systems.

You will oversee onboarding/offboarding processes, prepare contracts, ensure labour-law compliance, process payroll, and drive training initiatives including HRD Corp grants, while

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Business & Human Resource or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Human Resource.
• Knowledge of statutory requirements (Employment Act, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, SKBBK, LHDN, HRDC, Income Tax Regulations).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous, analytical, and organized.
• Able to commence on short notice is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, payroll, compensation & benefits, training, and employee relations.
• Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems, attendance, leave platforms, and databases.
• Handle onboarding and offboarding to ensure a smooth employee experience.
• Prepare employment contracts, service agreements, and HR-related documents.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies, including stamp duty submissions.
• Process monthly payroll and payroll journals; support payroll budgeting.
• Oversee employee welfare initiatives, gifts, and recognition programs.
• Coordinate HR training, HRD Corp grants, and external providers.
• Liaise with recruitment agencies and external stakeholders on HR matters.
• Coordinate with IT on equipment and system access during onboarding/offboarding.
• Review salary and benefits information for annual tax reporting.
• Provide guidance on HR matters and participate in improvement projects.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
