Job summary

Bonia Corporation Berhad is seeking an HR Executive to manage end-to-end recruitment, payroll, attendance, rosters, onboarding, and employee relations for retail stores and HQ staff in Malaysia.

The role requires 2–4 years of generalist HR experience, familiarity with Malaysian labor laws, and hands-on payroll software expertise. You will maintain HR records, support training programs, and ensure compliant HR practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s in HRM/BA; relevant degree required.
• 2–4 years of generalist HR experience, with exposure to retail/shift-work payroll and recruitment.
• Solid knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act, labor laws and statutory regulations (EPF/SOCSO/EIS/PCB).
• Hands-on experience operating payroll software (e.g., SQL Payroll, AutoCount Payroll, InfoTech, PayrollPanda).

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end recruitment for retail store staff and HQ roles.
• Oversee monthly payroll processing and statutory contributions (EPF/SOCSO/EIS/PCB).
• Track attendance, rosters, leaves and public holiday pay for retail operations.
• Manage onboarding of new hires and offboarding (exit interviews, settlements).
• Provide employee relations support and assist in training and events.
