Job summary

TENBEX Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Human Resources and Administration Manager to design and implement HR strategies, policies and initiatives aligned with our business objectives. The role oversees payroll, attendance, recruitment, and performance management across Malaysia.

You will lead a dedicated HR team, ensure compliance with employment laws, handle grievances, and drive training programs to elevate workforce capability. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of HR experience.
• Minimum 7 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in HR & Administration (HRA).
• Strong HR Generalist coverage across functions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and initiatives aligned with company objectives.
• Oversee daily HR operations, payroll, attendance, leave, employee records and benefits administration.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding and manpower planning based on business and project requirements.
• Identify training needs, coordinate training programmes and monitor training effectiveness.
• Manage employee performance appraisals and support performance improvement initiatives.
• Oversee salary, allowances, benefits and employee entitlements administration.
• Ensure HR policies and practices comply with applicable employment laws and regulations.
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters and industrial relations issues.
• Prepare HR reports and monitor recruitment, turnover, absenteeism and manpower movement.
• Supervise and guide HR personnel to ensure effective delivery of HR functions.
