is seeking a Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician to oversee daily inspections, routine maintenance, and 5S management of power and production facilities in a 24/7 plant. You will perform PM schedules on chillers, air compressors, HV/LV distribution and water systems; log telemetry data; support RCA with engineers; supervise external vendors; enforce LOTO; and assist with spare parts and safety requirements.
Responsible for the daily inspection, routine maintenance, and 5S management of power and production facilities to ensure a stable 24/7 production environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive daily routine inspections and patrol rounds on facility utility station equipment (Chillers, Air Compressors, High/Low Voltage Power Distribution, Water Systems) and strictly log operational telemetry data.
Meticulously execute annual, monthly, and weekly preventive maintenance (PM) schedules, including regular machine lubrication, deep cleaning, filter cleaning, and parts replacement; maintain photographic and paper verification records.
Respond immediately to unexpected utility station equipment downtimes or facility line alarms; assist engineers in active troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to minimize production lines interruption.
Assist engineers and contractors in the physical positioning, leveling, and secondary utility line connections (Water/Gas/Electricity) of new production equipment.
Perform daily routing sampling, chemical dosing pump parameter tuning, and strict water quality monitoring for cooling towers and process water treatment systems to ensure absolute compliance with local environmental baselines (DOE).
Manage the full-process on-site supervision of external vendors, including entry registration validation, safety briefings delivery, and executing continuous audits on Tool Hook-up quality.
Monitor and instantly alert supervisors regarding any abnormal spikes in power or water consumption telemetry; rigorously maintain pristine 5S neatness inside all facility zones, tool areas, and work sites.
Assist senior staff in physical spare parts inventory counts, tracking consumable logbook updates, and initiating part requisition flows to eliminate repair delays.
Strictly deploy individual Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) isolation protocols and verify a zero-energy state before reaching into any automated machinery for repairs.
Carry out technical support operations and complete other operational tasks assigned by the Facilities Supervisor.
Job Requirements:
MUST possess a valid Chargeman A0 / A1 certificate.
Professional Diploma, or Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent technical fields.
Minimum of 2+ years of professional maintenance or field operations experience within a manufacturing plant environment (Direct exposure inside a Semiconductor Wafer Fab or high-volume Electronics assembly setup is highly preferred).
Solid fundamental understanding of pneumatic valves, cylinders, electrical wiring layouts, sensors, inverters, and the fluent capability to read basic engineering drawings, P&IDs, or electrical schematics.
Highly proficient in operating standard mechanical/electrical testing instruments, including digital multimeters, insulation testers, and specialized manual troubleshooting tools safely.
Good practical literacy in written and spoken English and Mandarin to comprehend technical SOPs, fill out physical shift logbooks, and brief contractors.
Strong ingrained safety awareness regarding industrial hazards, personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance, and absolute self-discipline in enforcing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
Fully willing and fit to work rotating 12-hour shifts (Day/Night) and respond flexibly to emergency standby callouts (On-Call) during plant failures.
