Private Advertiser is seeking a maintenance professional to support semiconductor production and process operations in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The role involves process monitoring, data collection, troubleshooting, and maintaining manufacturing equipment.
You will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, automation, and control systems, and support installation and improvement projects.
Support semiconductor production & process operations, including process monitoring, inspection, data collection, and troubleshooting.
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, automation, and control systems.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot semiconductor test equipment, testers, handlers, and test fixtures.
Monitor & maintain facility & utility systems, including HVAC, chilled water, compressed air, electrical, water, and other plant utilities.
Respond to equipment breakdowns, alarms, and abnormalities to minimize production downtime.
Support equipment installation, qualification, modification, and improvement projects.
Work closely with Engineers, Production, Quality, Facilities, and external vendors to resolve technical issues.
Maintain accurate maintenance, process, test, and equipment records.
Adhere to all EHS, cleanroom, ESD, quality, and company procedures.
Involve in root-cause analysis, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous activities.
Diploma / Advance Diploma / Certificate in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Semiconductor, or related technical fields.
Experience in semiconductor, electronics, manufacturing, equipment maintenance, process, test, or facility operations is an advantage.
Strong hands‑on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge in electrical, mechanical, automation, or instrument systems.
Able to read technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and work instrustions.
Familiarity with cleanroom, ESD, semiconductor equipment, or manufacturing systems is an advantage.
Good teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.
Willing to work on shifts, weekends, public holidays, or standby/on-call when required.
