Job summary

LKE Group Sdn Bhd, a leading agriculture developer in Malaysia, seeks a proactive Human Resources Executive to lead end-to-end recruitment and support HR operations. You will manage job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, onboarding and maintain recruitment records to build a strong talent pipeline.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in recruitment and HR operations.
• Retail industry experience with high-volume recruitment is strongly preferred.
• Strong sourcing, interviewing, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation and HR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: manage full recruitment cycle, postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers and onboarding.
• Coordinate interviews, reference checks and background verification; maintain candidate databases and recruitment reports.

Job description

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven candidate to lead the end-to-end recruitment process while supporting general HR operations. The role focuses on attracting and hiring suitable talent to meet the company's manpower requirements, alongside handling various HR functions to ensure smooth and effective HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection and offer management.

Work closely with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and recruitment priorities.

Active sourcing candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, networking, and resume search.

Conduct resume screening, phone interviews and candidate assessments.

Coordinate interviews, reference checks and background verification.

Prepare offer letters and coordinate onboarding arrangements for new hires.

Maintain recruitment records, candidate databases and recruitment reports.

Support employer branding, recruitment campaigns and talent pipeline development.

2. General HR Operations & Administration

Handle HR administration, employee records and personnel documentation.

Coordinate employee onboarding, probation reviews, confirmation and employee movements.

Assist in attendance, leave administration, payroll preparation and staff benefits.

Support performance management, KPI reviews and appraisal exercises.

Assist in employee relations, disciplinary matters and staff grievances.

Support the implementation and improvement of HR policies, SOPs and procedures.

Coordinate staff engagement activities, training arrangements and other HR initiatives.

Ensure HR practices comply with applicable Malaysian employment legislation and statutory requirements.

Undertake other HR-related duties and projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in recruitment and HR operations.

Candidates with retail industry experience, particularly in managing high-volume recruitment and frontline hiring, will be strongly preferred.

Strong candidate sourcing, interviewing, communication and interpersonal skills.

Good knowledge of Malaysian employment legislation, including the Employment Act 1955 and related HR compliance requirements.

Familiarity with recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn, Jobstreet and other hiring channels.

Good understanding of HR administration, payroll, leave management and employee relations.

Able to manage multiple vacancies and HR responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Independent, proactive, organized and results-oriented.

Possess own transport and willing to travel when required.
