GoKardz Technologies is seeking a dedicated individual for server management, focusing on Wintel Servers both hardware and operating systems. The role includes responsibilities such as problem resolution, ensuring system performance and reliability, and installation of new server hardware.

Ideal candidates should hold a higher diploma or degree in IT or related fields with 5+ years of relevant experience. Preferred certifications include VMware and Nutanix certified professional.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a higher Diploma or Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering / telecommunications network or equivalent.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV) preferred.
• 5 or more years of experience on Microsoft Windows Operating System, VMware vSphere, and Nutanix - Design, Deployment and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1, 2 and 3 problem resolution.
• Ensure 24x7 availability to attend critical system issues.
• Review and monitor system reliability and performance.

Job Purpose

To provide support for Wintel Servers (Hardware and Operating System), Physical and Virtual Servers.

Responsibilities

• Level 1, 2 and 3 problem resolution.
• 24x7 availability to attend critical system issues.
• Partner with other teams to plan, coordinate, design, configure, install, and maintain Intel based systems.
• Review, maintain, and monitor system reliability and performance.
• Install and configure new server hardware and operating system.
• Perform patching and updates on server OS and hardware.
• Review and enforce security and server policy.
• Involve in problem log, RCA, problem management log.
• Act as technical project leader for projects with small budgets or limited duration.
• Work with vendors and partners to ensure hardware and software are delivered/configured according to specification.

Qualifications & Competencies

Qualification

1. Candidate must possess at least a higher Diploma or Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering / telecommunications network or equivalent.
2. VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV) (preferred)
3. Nutanix Certified Associate (preferred)
4. Cisco Certified Network Associate (Data Center) (preferred)
