Job summary

Infomina is seeking a Support Engineer to manage day-to-day IT operations, supporting enterprise infrastructure and endpoints. The role involves incident handling, problem resolution, service delivery, and ensuring operational excellence across Windows servers, virtualization, Active Directory, and network devices.

Responsibilities include OS installation, patch upgrades, security configurations, backup procedures, and documenting changes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.
Experience with firmware upgrades and network maintenance procedures.
Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware, Redhat, CCNA, CCNP) are an advantage.

Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance of client’s IT equipment, ensuring operational functionality.
Install server operating systems and utilities in line with security guidelines.
Provide support for server OS, software, and patch upgrades.
Configure server OS including initial setup and access control.
Administer OS file systems and permissions.
Manage OS security measures and patch coordination with vendors.
Lead activities related to Network, Firewall and ICT maintenance.
Monitor performance and reliability of servers, storage, network, and ICT.
Update knowledge base and train end users as needed.
Prepare diagrams, procedures, incident reports and monthly performance reports.
