Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of Windows Server and Wintel administration experience.
• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy administration.
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, File Server, and WSUS.
• Familiarity with Hyper-V or other virtualization technologies.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer Windows Servers (2012/2016/2019).
• Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting for Windows Server and virtualization issues (primarily Hyper-V).
• Monitor system health and ensure server availability and stability.
• Support server patching, updates, and decommissioning activities.
• Assist with AD setup, management, and Group Policy administration.
• Perform basic administration of DNS, DHCP, File Server, and WSUS.
• Document system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on escalated issues and change management tasks.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Wintel Engineer to provide expert support in the installation, configuration, and administration of Windows Servers. In this role, you will ensure system stability and availability, perform troubleshooting, and collaborate with IT teams to resolve escalated issues.

Key Responsibilities

Support the installation, configuration, and administration of Windows Servers (2012/2016/2019).

Perform day-to-day support and troubleshooting for Windows Server and virtualisation issues, primarily Hyper-V.

Monitor system health and conduct routine checks to ensure server availability and stability.

Support server patching, updates, and decommissioning activities.

Assist with Active Directory setup, management, and Group Policy administration.

Perform basic administration of DNS, DHCP, File Server, and WSUS.

Document system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.

Collaborate with senior engineers and other teams for escalated issues and change management tasks.

Must-have Requirements

Diploma or equivalent in a related discipline.
