Job summary

CHASS Computer Consultants (M) Sdn Bhd in Selangor is seeking a senior IT infrastructure professional to lead implementation, upgrades and migrations across servers, storage, HCI, virtualization, backup/DR and cloud platforms, aligned with the agreed SOW.

You will own technical design and delivery documentation, troubleshoot multi-vendor incidents, support presales, estimate effort, and ensure secure deployments following ISO/IEC 27001 controls.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise system and infrastructure.
• At least one current professional-level vendor certification (e.g. VCP, NCP, VMCE, RHCSA/RHCE, Azure/AWS associate).
• Working knowledge of networking and security fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation, upgrade and migration of servers, storage, HCI, virtualisation, backup/DR, databases/middleware and cloud platforms, working to the agreed SOW.
• Own technical design and delivery documentation: design notes, installation/UAT, as-built and handover.
• Troubleshoot complex multi-vendor incidents. Drive cases with principals and distributors through to root cause and closure.
• Support presales: solution design, sizing, site surveys, PoCs and technical presentations.
• Estimate effort accurately, and raise scope, risk and dependency issues early.
• Support cybersecurity deployments as assigned (endpoint, firewall, email/web security, SIEM) and apply security hardening to what you deliver.
• Follow ISO/IEC 27001 controls on customer data, credentials and access.

About you

Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent

At least 6 years of hands-on experience in enterprise system and infrastructure, with a strong track record of project delivery

Solid, hands-on experience in most of the following: Enterprise servers and storage (SAN/NAS), Virtualisation and HCI: VMware, Hyper‑V, Nutanix, Backup and DR: e.g. Veeam, Commvault, Veritas, Windows Server / Active Directory and Linux administration, Databases and middleware, Cloud: Azure, AWS or hybrid

At least one current professional‑level vendor certification, e.g. VCP, NCP, VMCE, RHCSA/RHCE, Azure/AWS associate. More is an advantage

Working knowledge of networking and security fundamentals
