Job summary

Linktal Recruitment in Malaysia is seeking a Sea Freight Operations role focusing on Oceania shipments. You will manage export and import processes, arrange bookings, preparation of documents, and coordinate with customs clearance and delivery teams.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year experience in sea freight and those who speak Mandarin will be highly relevant for liaising with overseas agents. The position offers early shift start with a 6am to 3pm schedule and competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Handle export and import operations focusing on Oceania market, including bookings, documentation and customs coordination.
• Prepare and maintain shipping and customs documentation, tracking, and billing support.
• Monitor shipment schedules, follow up with carriers and provide timely updates.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, shipping lines, overseas agents, suppliers and internal teams across time zones.

Key Responsibility

• Handle export and import operations, focusing on the Oceania market, including booking arrangements, documentation, and coordination for customs clearance and delivery.
• Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and customs documentation, along with shipment tracking records and billing support.
• Monitor shipment schedules, follow up with carriers and service providers, and ensure timely updates on shipment status.
• Liaise with customs brokers, shipping lines, third-party vendors, overseas agents, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth coordination across time zones.
