Job summary

PERSOL Malaysia is seeking a Compliance Management Executive in Kuala Lumpur to support governance for Malaysian and Singapore entities. You will leverage your company secretarial background while receiving on‑the‑job training to handle MAS‑licensed firm compliance and exposure to deals and funds.

You will work across board meetings, MAS regulatory returns, AML/CFT controls, governance of funds and SPVs, and be mentored by senior compliance professionals.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years' experience in a company secretarial role, at a corporate secretarial firm or in house.
• Degree or professional qualification in law, corporate administration, accounting or finance.
• A genuine interest in investments, private markets or financial services is a strong advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential matters.
• Ability to manage deadlines across two jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Board meeting support: prepare agendas, papers and draft resolutions; track decisions and action items.
• Regulatory compliance (MAS, under supervision): prepare MAS regulatory returns, surveys and notifications; support AML/CFT controls; maintain compliance registers; track MAS notices and update policies and SOPs.
• Investments and fund governance: review private equity and venture capital transactions for compliance; coordinate with administrators, trustees, auditors and legal counsel; prepare compliance reports.
• Training and career path: on-the-job MAS compliance training; pathway toward MAS compliance officer role.
