Job summary

Malakoff in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Executive / Executive, Compliance to support the organization’s compliance activities, ensuring business functions comply with applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations, and internal policies. You will monitor compliance, identify gaps and risks, provide guidance to business functions, and support corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law, business, finance, risk management, compliance or governance.
• Candidates with a law/legal background have added advantage.
• Experience in compliance, risk management or governance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor applicable laws, regulations and regulatory requirements and identify changes.
• Review and track key contractual obligations and commitments.
• Conduct compliance assessments, maintain registers and prepare management reports.
• Coordinate with Legal, Risk Management and Internal Audit to drive compliance awareness.
