Job summary

BYD Malaysia seeks a Senior Executive, Commercial Finance to support the financial and commercial performance of the EV Charging business, with potential to assist other areas. You will monitor transactions, revenue, costs and partner settlements, and prepare analyses to guide business decisions.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience in commercial finance, strong Excel skills, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in commercial finance or revenue control.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with financial/accounting or BI systems.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and reconcile transactions, billing, payments, revenue and partner settlements.
• Support revenue assurance and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Analyse revenue, costs, profitability and key business performance indicators.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial performance tracking.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards and management analysis.
• Provide financial analysis to support pricing and new initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance, Commercial, Operations and Digital teams.
• Improve financial controls, reporting processes and operational efficiency.
• Provide insights to support management reporting and decision-making.
• Support activities across other business lines as required.
