Job summary

CITA EV Charger in the Malaysia region is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth for EV charging solutions. You will identify opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and represent the company at industry events.

The role requires 6–10 years in business development or sales, strong network in Malaysia, and proven ability to negotiate contracts, manage tenders, and deliver on targets in a remote-hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in business development, sales or strategic partnerships.
• Experience in electrical item trading and dealings within Malaysia.
• Prior EV charging, renewable energy, electrical equipment, solar, battery storage, or automotive exposure preferred.
• Strong network within the Malaysian EV ecosystem is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for EV charging in Malaysia.
• Build and maintain relationships with OEMs, EPCs, real estate developers, fuel stations, fleets, government entities, hotels and malls.
• Lead tendering, bid documentation, and compliance activities.
• Conduct market research on trends, competitors and customer needs.
• Develop proposals, presentations, and commercial offers for clients.
• Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements with clients and partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align solutions with market demand.
• Attend industry events to represent the company and drive growth.
• Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets and maintain CRM-driven forecasts.
