Private Advertiser in Penang is seeking an experienced CNC 3-Axis & 5-Axis Machinist / Programmer to join our team.

You will program, set up, operate, and optimize FANUC and Brother machines, read engineering drawings, edit G-code/M-code, and focus on cycle time, tool life, surface finish, and part accuracy.

The role demands independent work, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to improve machining processes from setup through finish.

Formación

• Experience in CNC machining and programming.
• Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines.
• FANUC and Brother controls preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient in generating and editing G-code/M-code.

SENIOR CNC 3-Axis & 5-Axis Machinist / Programmer

We are looking for an experienced CNC 3-Axis & 5-Axis Machinist / Programmer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for CNC programming, machine setup, operation, tooling, inspection, troubleshooting, and machining process optimization. The successful candidate should be comfortable working with FANUC and Brother CNC machining centers and capable of handling jobs from programming and setup through to finished components.

Key responsibilities

Program and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining centers.

Set up and operate FANUC and Brother CNC machines.

Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs.

Perform G-code / M-code editing and troubleshooting.

Set work offsets, tool offsets, tool compensation, and work coordinates.

Select appropriate cutting tools, holders, speeds, and feeds.

Perform machine setup, tool setting, workpiece alignment, and work holding.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T.

Machine precision components, jigs, fixtures, tooling, and prototype parts.

Optimize machining processes for cycle time, tool life, surface finish, and accuracy.

About you

Relevant experience in CNC machining and programming.

Experience with 3-axis and/or 5-axis CNC machining.

Experience with FANUC and Brother CNC controls is preferred.

Good understanding of CNC milling processes.

Able to read and understand engineering drawings.

Able to edit and troubleshoot G-code/M-code.

Knowledge of cutting tools, machining parameters, speeds, and feeds.

Able to perform CNC machine setup independently.

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
