Job summary

Private Advertiser in Penang is seeking an experienced CNC 3-Axis & 5-Axis Machinist / Programmer to join our team.

You will program, set up, operate, and optimize FANUC and Brother machines, read engineering drawings, edit G-code/M-code, and focus on cycle time, tool life, surface finish, and part accuracy.

The role demands independent work, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to improve machining processes from setup through finish.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC machining and programming.
• Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines.
• FANUC and Brother controls preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient in generating and editing G-code/M-code.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining centers.
• Set up and operate FANUC and Brother CNC machines.
• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs.
• Perform G-code / M-code editing and troubleshooting.
• Set work offsets, tool offsets, tool compensation, and coordinates.
• Select cutting tools, holders, speeds, and feeds.
• Machine setup, tool setting, and workholding.
• Read drawings, tolerances, and GD&T.
• Machinability of precision components, jigs, fixtures, tooling, and prototypes.
• Optimize processes for cycle time, tool life, surface finish, and accuracy.
