Job summary

TAY TOOL ENGINEERING WORKS SDN BHD in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to create and optimise programs for milling and turning machines. You will read drawings, select tooling, set parameters and simulate programs before production.

The role requires a diploma or equivalent in CNC Machining or related field, knowledge of G-code/M-code, and experience with CAM software. You will collaborate with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and machining requirements.
• Familiar with CNC milling or CNC turning operations.
• Knowledge of G-code, M-code, tooling and cutting parameters.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in CNC programming and machining is preferred.
• Experience with CAM software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify CNC programs for CNC milling and CNC turning machines.
