Job summary

ETI (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to operate milling and turning machines and optimize 5-axis CNC programs using Mastercam. You will analyze drawings, determine appropriate speeds, feeds, and tooling, and collaborate with production to enhance manufacturing efficiency.

The role requires a 3+ year track record in CNC programming, proficiency with Mastercam/Surfcam, and the ability to work independently in a Malaysian manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Prefer minimum 3 years CNC machines / programming experience.
• Knowledge in operating CNC 5-axis machines.
• Knowledge in Mastercam and Surfcam is an advantage.
• Computer literate and able to work independently.

Job description

Operate CNC milling and turning machines.

Monitor CNC programs to maintain quality and ensure accuracy of all instructions through comparison with drawing and design.

Analyze drawings, sketches, design, design data to determine dimension and configuration of cuts, machine speeds and feed rates.

To troubleshoot and assist machinist for CNC programming issues.

Report and implement on the new programming method.

To analyze, review, and recommend improvement to existing programs to increase machining efficiency and adapt to changing requirements.

To select and recommend tools and/or new equipment to support product manufacturing.

To lead with machining defect investigation, root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing quality issues.

To assess and provide feedback on product design and manufacturability related issues.

To design Jig & fixture for machining and sub-assembly products.

To work together with production to assists production at CNC section.

To work together with Production Controller and Production Supervisor to review and improving CNC process.

To write and modify 5-Axis CNC Programs with Mastercam software.

Running on the CNC machine using the prepare program.

Perform any other duties assigned by superior or manager from time to time.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

Preferably with minimum of 3 years CNC machines / Programming experience.

Knowledge in operating CNC 5-Axis Machines.

Knowledge in Mastercam and Surfcam Software is an advantage.

Computer literate and able to work independently.
