Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a Business Development Manager - Contract Logistics in Malaysia to identify new business opportunities and develop tailored supply chain solutions for expanding our Contract Logistics portfolio. The role focuses on building relationships with customers and leading proposals, pricing, and tender submissions.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years in BD or sales within logistics, a solid understanding of 3PL/4PL operations, and experience with RFQ/RFP processes.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in Business Development, Sales or Account Management within Contract Logistics or Supply Chain
• Proven track record of securing new business and achieving sales targets
• Strong understanding of 3PL/4PL logistics operations including warehousing, transportation and value-added services
• Experience managing RFQ/RFP processes, proposals, pricing strategies and contract negotiations
• Experience with multinational customers or regional BD activities is a plus
• Experience in Contract Logistics and eCommerce logistics preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within Contract Logistics sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Understand customers supply chain challenges and develop tailored logistics solutions.
• Lead the preparation of proposals, quotations, pricing models and tender submissions.
• Negotiate commercial terms, contracts and service agreements.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements to identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Legal and Customer Service to ensure successful implementations.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular updates and forecasts.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for account growth and long-term partnerships.
