Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Malaysia is seeking a Ground & Rail Business Development Manager to drive growth across the Ground & Rail segment, expand the customer portfolio, and deliver tailored logistics solutions.

You will manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation, collaborate with Operations and Pricing teams, and build long-term partnerships across Southeast Asia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
• Proven track record in acquiring new business and managing key customer accounts.
• Experience in Ground Transportation, Cross-Border Trucking, Domestic Distribution, or Freight Forwarding is highly preferred.
• Experience in solution selling and contract negotiations.
• Strong business development and consultative selling skills.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management abilities.
• Strong commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and develop value-added logistics solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Drive business growth across the Ground & Rail logistics segment in Malaysia.
• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in cross-border trucking, domestic distribution, and integrated ground transportation solutions.
• Promote CEVA's Ground & Rail services, including FTL, LTL, Milk Run, and Last-Mile Delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and solution design to contract negotiation and account implementation.
• Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasting to achieve sales and gross margin targets.
• Prepare and present customized logistics solutions meeting customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Pricing, Product Management, Trade Lane Teams, and Customer Service.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to develop commercial strategies.
• Drive customer retention, account growth, and long-term partnerships.
