Massive Anchor Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a finance professional to handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank & cash management, as well as general ledger tasks. The role also supports month-end and year-end closures and statutory compliance.
The ideal candidate will maintain ledgers, reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries, and assist with audits and statutory reporting to ensure accurate, timely financial records.
Process supplier invoices, bills and payment vouchers accurately and on time.
Verify supplier invoices against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Orders (DO) and supporting documents.
Maintain supplier ledgers and perform supplier statement reconciliations.
Monitor payment due dates and outstanding supplier balances.
Prepare payment schedules and payment instructions for management approval.
Maintain good relationships with suppliers by ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Prepare and issue sales invoices, credit notes and debit notes.
Record customer collections and allocate payments accurately.
Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
Prepare customer Statements of Account (SOA).
Reconcile customer accounts and investigate any discrepancies promptly.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Verify all bank transactions and ensure receipts, payments and bank charges are properly recorded.
Monitor daily cash flow and ensure sufficient funds for operational commitments.
Maintain complete and accurate accounting records.
Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments and accounting adjustments.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Ensure all accounting records are updated in a timely manner.
Maintain proper filing and documentation for easy retrieval.
Process and maintain Malaysia e-Invoice requirements.
Ensure invoices comply with LHDN regulations.
Assist with SST, withholding tax and other statutory requirements.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary and government authorities when required.
Prepare monthly management accounts and accounting schedules.
Generate AR and AP ageing reports.
Prepare bank reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation schedules.
Assist management with financial reports and ad-hoc analysis.
Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements.
Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents for external auditors.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
Assist in annual audit, tax submission and statutory reporting.
