Job summary

WH Electrical Marketing (M) Sdn Bhd is looking for an organised accounting professional to handle full sets of accounts, AR/AP, collections and month-end close. You will monitor cash flow, perform bank reconciliations and liaise with auditors and tax agents as needed.

The role requires Diploma in Accounting or higher, proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with SQL Accounting Software. Malaysia-based, on-site work environment.

• Candidate must possess at least LCCI/Diploma in Accounting or higher.

Job description

Prepare full sets of accounts, handling & monitoring on account payable and account receivable & collections.

Responsible for daily accounting duties and ensuring accounting records and systems comply with the Company’s policies, accounting standard systems comply with Company’s policies, accounting standard procedures and related statutory and tax requirements.

Manage daily bank balance / cash flow position and fund placement.

Perform monthly bank reconciliation.

Support in month end close procedure with timely and accurate recording.

Monitoring all debtors and review credit terms in align with our Company’s Policies.

In charge of all accounting issues such as liaising with auditors, tax agents, company secretary and other government corporate bodies.

Any other accounting duties assigned by the management from time to time.

Responsible for AR functions including updating daily sales collections, preparing CN & DN, sending invoices & statement of account to customers and liaising with customer and sales department on customer related matters

Preparation of documents for collection purpose including collection slip & BA submission

Prepare internal ageing reports for management’s review on monthly basis.

Maintenance of new and update customer profile including information and credit management.

Closely monitor the outstanding balances, reconcile customer accounts and take pro-active actions in resolving disputes.

Review customer credit and financial information to make recommendations for credit worthiness, including credit limits, and monitors granted credit limits to ensure compliance.

Ensure proper filing of accounting records / documents.

Perform other ad hoc accounting and general administration assignment as assigned.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least LCCI/Diploma in Accounting or higher

Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office application

Familiar with SQL Accounting Software will be an added advantage

Organised, good working attitude and pleasant personality
