Job summary

OUS Group Of Companies is seeking a Senior Account Executive to oversee day-to-day accounting operations in a growing multi-sector business. The role supports the finance team, ensures accuracy, and maintains compliance with MPERS and local regulations.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in plantation, FMCG, retail, or export industries. Strong Excel skills and independence are essential.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations, journal entries, and assist in month-end closing.
• Support financial reporting and ensure compliance with MPERS and local tax regulations.
• Monitor inventory and procurement transactions to ensure accurate recording.
• Assist in managing cash flow, supplier payments, and customer collections.
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies when required.
• Provide accounting support for plantation operations, retail sales, e-commerce, and export activities.
• Contribute to process improvements and maintain proper documentation.

Position: Senior Account Executive
Working Time: 9am - 6pm (Mon - Fri)
Location: Lake Fields Sungai Besi (7 mins to LRT/MRT Sungai Besi)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support the finance team in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in a growing player in the durian plantation, retail, e-commerce, and export sector.

Key responsibilities

Handle daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries

Prepare monthly reconciliations, journal entries, and assist in month-end closing

Support financial reporting and ensure compliance with MPERS and local tax regulations

Monitor inventory and procurement transactions to ensure accurate recording

Assist in managing cash flow, supplier payments, and customer collections

Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies when required

Provide accounting support for plantation operations, retail sales, e-commerce, and export activities

Contribute to process improvements and maintain proper documentation

About you

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience

Experience in plantation, agriculture, FMCG, retail, or export industries is an advantage

Strong attention to detail, integrity, and analytical skills

Familiarity with inventory and procurement processes preferred

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
