Job summary

OUS Group invites a detail-oriented Senior/Junior Account Executive to support daily accounting operations in Kuala Lumpur. The role suits candidates with relevant experience or fresh graduates eager to grow in accounting, handling full sets of accounts and monthly reports.

You will assist with accounts payable/receivable, verify documents, and coordinate with auditors and tax agents. Proficiency in Excel and basic SQL is preferred, and Chinese reading/writing is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic knowledge of SQL is a plus.
• Read/write Chinese required for the role.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience with full sets of accounts and monthly reports is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily accounting functions and transactions.
• Assist in handling full sets of accounts and monthly financial reports.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash flow.
• Verify POs, DOs, invoices and supporting documents before recording.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax agents on audits and tax matters.
• Ad-hoc accounting and business operation tasks as assigned.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior/Junior Account Executive to support the company's daily accounting operations. This role is suitable for candidates with relevant working experience and fresh graduates who are eager to build their career in accounting.

Assist in managing the company's daily accounting functions and transactions.

Assist in handling full sets of accounts and preparing monthly financial reports.

Monitor and follow up on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow matters.

Verify purchase orders, delivery orders, invoices, and other supporting documents before recording them in the accounting system.

Ensure accurate and timely data entry and proper filing of accounting documents.

Assist in coordinating with auditors and tax agents on audit, accounting, and tax-related matters.

Assist with ad-hoc accounting and business operation tasks as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Experience or basic knowledge of SQL will be an added advantage.

Ability to read and write in Chinese is required due to the nature of the role.

Detail-oriented with good organizational and time-management skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
