SGMA International Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Account Executive to manage the full set of accounts, including AP, AR and GL, and to prepare management accounts and financial reports at month-end. The candidate will handle daily transactions, reconciliations, invoicing and cash flow monitoring, while liaising with auditors and regulators to ensure compliance.
The role requires 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience, a Diploma/Degree in Accounting, and strong Excel/accounting software
Handle the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger. Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and relevant accounting schedules. Manage daily accounting transactions, payment processing, bank reconciliation and cash flow monitoring. Prepare invoices, credit notes, payment vouchers and other accounting documentation. Monitor customer collections, outstanding balances and supplier payments. Perform monthly closing and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare financial analysis, costing reports and management reports when required. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, bankers and other external parties. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, statutory requirements and company policies. Assist in budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow planning. Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records. Support management in improving accounting procedures, internal controls and financial processes.

Good knowledge of accounting principles, taxation and statutory requirements in Malaysia
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
Able to work independently with minimum supervision and meet deadlines
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Mature, responsible, detail-oriented and able to handle confidential financial information
