Job summary

KFOCUS INFINITY TRADING is seeking a highly experienced Senior Accounts Executive to independently manage the full set of accounts and the company's accounting functions with minimal supervision. You will handle GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations and monthly/year-end closing, delivering accurate management accounts, P&L and balance sheet.

You will liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks and authorities and help implement robust controls.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree / Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of strong hands-on accounting experience.
• Must have proven experience handling FULL SET ACCOUNTS independently.
• Strong practical knowledge of Malaysian accounting, audit, taxation and SST requirements.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• All-round accounting professional capable of closing books, management reporting, audit and tax prep.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts including GL, AP, AR and bank reconciliations.
• Perform monthly and year-end closing, and prepare Management Accounts, P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Manage cash flow, collections, credit control and account ageing.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules and analysis for management.

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for multiple companies as needed.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, cost control and financial analysis.
• Take ownership from day-to-day transactions through closing, reporting, audit and tax prep.

Job description

We are looking for a highly experienced and hands-on Senior Accounts Executive who is capable of independently handling the company's full set of accounts and overall accounting functions with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Handle full set of accounts independently, including GL, AP, AR and bank reconciliation.

Perform monthly and year-end closing and prepare accurate Management Accounts, Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.

Manage cash flow, payment planning, collections, credit control and account ageing.

Handle intercompany transactions, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and journal entries.

Prepare financial reports, schedules and analysis for management.

Handle SST, audit, taxation and other statutory accounting matters.

Liaise independently with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, banks and relevant authorities.

Prepare complete audit and tax schedules with proper supporting documentation.

Identify accounting errors, discrepancies and irregularities, and resolve them independently.

Able to take over, reconcile and clean up incomplete or messy accounts when required.

Establish and improve accounting procedures, documentation and internal controls.

Handle multiple companies/accounts where required.

Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, cost control and financial analysis.

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure all accounts are accurate and up to date.

Perform any other finance and accounting duties assigned by management.

Requirements

Diploma / Degree / Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of strong hands-on accounting experience.

Must have proven experience handling FULL SET ACCOUNTS independently.

Strong practical knowledge of Malaysian accounting, audit, taxation and SST requirements.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Responsible, detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.

We are looking for an all-round and experienced accounting professional - not someone whose experience is limited to AP, AR, data entry or basic bookkeeping. The candidate must be able to take ownership of the accounts from day-to-day transactions through closing, management reporting, audit and tax preparation.
