Job summary

Pali Pali Trading Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Account Executive to support Accounting, Finance, and Administration processes in a dynamic logistics environment. You will oversee daily operations, ensure timely financial reporting, and guide junior staff.

The role requires a degree in Accounting/Finance (ACCA/CPA preferred) and 3–4 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel and accounting-system proficiency. Competitive salary and bonus opportunities are offered.

• Minimum 3–4 years of relevant accounting/finance experience.
• Prior experience in full set of accounts and team supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and review work prepared by the team members.
• Monitor AR/AP, inventory valuation, and cost controls.
• Manage month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
• Assist in the preparation of management accounts, financial reports, and analysis.
• Assist in cash flow management.
• Support implementation or improvement of accounting systems and SOPs.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and company secretary for statutory compliance.
• Provide guidance and training to junior accounting staff.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory submissions and company policies.
• Liaise with superiors to suggest improvements in the purchasing process, system, or workflow to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

This role ensures smooth daily operations, proper documentation, compliance with company policies, and timely financial reporting. It is ideal for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting operations and review work prepared by the team members

Monitor AR/AP, inventory valuation, and cost controls
