Job summary

Carsem (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Ipoh is seeking a Shipping Import Officer to join the logistics team. You will manage daily inbound import shipments, liaise with freight forwarders, and ensure accurate billing and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of shipping/import experience, preferably in semiconductor or high-tech electronics logistics, and strong MS Office/ERP system skills (SAP/Oracle).

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics, Shipping or related discipline with 2–3 years shipping experience, or 3–5 years shipping/import experience.
• Priority for candidates with Semiconductor or High-Tech Electronics logistics experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end inbound import shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee customs clearance documentation, import permits, and compliance with local regulations.
• Resolve day-to-day shipping exceptions, delays, or clearance issues with relevant parties.
• Verify, audit, and process import freight invoices and reconcile billing discrepancies.
• Maintain precise import records and support cross-functional teams on import-related tasks.
