Job summary

ASMPT MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking a Shipping Officer to manage inbound and outbound shipping, ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-efficient operations in Malaysia.

You will oversee documentation, customs declarations, and compliance with LMW regulations, while coordinating with Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, and Finance teams. The role requires 2–4 years in shipping/logistics, strong MS Excel skills, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or related.
• 2–4 years of experience in shipping, logistics, import/export, or customs operations.
• Experience in LMW operations and Malaysian Customs procedures is advantageous.
• Familiarity with import and export documentation and customs declarations.
• ERP systems and MS Office proficiency (Excel).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound shipping operations and monitor delivery schedules.
• Coordinate outbound shipments, freight bookings, and documentation.
• Prepare and verify export/import documents and related records.
• Ensure compliance with LMW, customs, and company SOPs; maintain records.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, Planning, Purchasing, Production, and Finance teams.
• Reconcile ERP transactions with shipping activities and investigate discrepancies.
• Support audits and continuous improvement of shipping processes.
