Job summary

Kintetsu World Express (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a detail-oriented Customer Service professional for Seafreight exports and imports. You will act as the main liaison between customers, operations, and our global partners to ensure smooth shipments and timely issue resolution.

The role requires 1–2 years in freight/logistics, good English/Malay/Mandarin communication, and familiarity with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in any related discipline.
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin for client communications.
• Good communication, proactive and self-motivated attitude.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer bookings and coordinate with co-loaders/liners.
• Monitor shipment costs and escalate pricing issues.
• Arrange cargo pickups and customs declarations.
• Prepare shipping documents (BL, SI) and pre-alerts.
• Ensure timely billing, cost input and invoice generation.
• Communicate with customers, vendors and sales teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain regular updates and reports on shipment progress.
• Support customer service improvement and internal reporting.
• Attend training and assist ad-hoc tasks.
