Qualifications

• Proven experience in a B2B sales role within manufacturing/construction sectors.
• Strong closing and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting targets.
• Excellent English and Malay communication and interpersonal abilities.

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join the sales team at KGS Paint & Waterproofing Sdn Bhd. This is a full-time position based in Puchong Jaya, Selangor. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving sales growth within our paint and waterproofing product portfolio. You will be a key contributor to our sales objectives and will play a vital role in expanding our market presence in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new clients in the building management, industrial, and commercial sectors
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers, highlighting the benefits and specifications of KGS paint and waterproofing solutions
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations tailored to client requirements
• Negotiate terms and close sales deals whilst maintaining profitability targets
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify sales opportunities and inform strategy
• Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline developments using CRM systems
• Collaborate with the technical team to provide support and resolve customer concerns or product-related queries
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions to build brand awareness and generate leads

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience as a Sales Representative or Sales Consultant in a manufacturing, construction, or related B2B environment
• Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and the ability to close deals effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse client groups
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs consistently
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications
• Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently whilst meeting deadlines
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the region to meet clients
• Basic knowledge of paint, coatings, or waterproofing products is highly desirable
• Ability to build long-term client relationships and identify upselling opportunities
• Fluency in English and Malay (both written and spoken)
