Job summary

GB Motors Sdn Bhd in Perak is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead the Isuzu vehicle sales team, drive targets, and develop effective sales strategies.

You will coach consultants, pursue fleet and corporate opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and coordinate campaigns with Isuzu Malaysia. The role requires a Diploma/Degree and 5 years of sales experience in automotive, with 2–3 years in a supervisory capacity. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in automotive or commercial vehicles.
• 2–3 years in a Sales Manager or supervisory role.
• Strong track record in achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and annual Isuzu vehicle sales targets.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth, revenue and profitability.
• Lead, coach and motivate Sales Consultants to improve productivity and sales performance.
• Develop new business opportunities with fleet operators, corporate customers and commercial clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Track sales KPIs, leads, conversion rates and sales pipeline, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and strengthen Isuzu's market position.
• Prepare sales reports for Management and coordinate campaigns with Isuzu Malaysia and internal teams.

• Sales Strategy - Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth, revenue and profitability.
• Team Leadership - Lead, coach and motivate Sales Consultants to improve productivity and sales performance.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a Sales Manager or supervisory role.
• Strong track record in achieving sales targets.
• Experience in commercial vehicle, fleet or corporate sales will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Result-oriented with good business and commercial awareness.
• Able to coach and motivate a sales team.
• Possess a valid driving licence.
• Willing to travel when required.
