Job summary

JCG PROPERTY in Malaysia seeks a Sales Leader to head the automotive sales team, driving revenue, customer satisfaction, and market share growth for used car vehicles. You will plan strategies, coordinate promotions, and ensure effective execution across sales activities.

The role requires strong leadership, product knowledge, and the ability to build relationships with clients, financiers, and suppliers. Applicants will guide the team to achieve goals and maintain professional client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales operation to achieve new car and service targets and improve profit margins.
• Manage and develop the sales team; set targets and monitor KPIs.
• Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts and presentations for Management review.
• Plan and execute sales promotions, cold canvassing, and prospecting activities.
• Oversee registrations, financing schemes, insurance processes, and related bank procedures.

Job description

To lead, manage, and drive the sales team towards achieving overall revenue targets, customer satisfaction, and market share growth for the company's automotive products and services. Responsible for strategic planning, team development, and execution of sales initiatives in alignment with company goals.

Key responsibilities

Manage the sales operation efficiently and ensure profit and sales targets on new cars are achieved through implementation of appropriate strategies and activities

Achieve sales targets, revenues and overall department KPIs and performance expectations

Remain knowledgeable of the range of products and services, key processes, business initiatives, industry trends and competition to assist the sales division in accomplishing company goals

Lead market penetration efforts for new models, variants, and promotions

Be conversant with all sales procedures and bank procedures, including registration of motor vehicles, hire purchase and financing schemes, vehicle insurance schemes, and new car sales delivery processes

Prepare detailed sales reports, forecasts and presentations for Management review

Plan and assist in managing sales promotions, cold canvassing and prospecting exercises

Supervise and guide a team of sales advisors in day-to-day operations aligned with Company goals

Lead and monitor individual and team performance, and take corrective action when under-performance is identified

Monitor and conduct in-house training, coaching and mentoring to sales advisors

About you

Knowledgeable of the range of products and services, key processes, business initiatives, industry trends and competition

Conversant with all sales procedures and bank procedures, including motor vehicle registration, hire purchase and financing schemes, vehicle insurance schemes, and new car sales delivery processes

Able to build and maintain good working relationships with office and corporate clients, relevant government agencies, members of the press, financiers, insurers and suppliers

Capable of projecting a professional image of the Company to the public
