Job summary

UOA Hospitality is seeking a seasoned sales professional to drive new business opportunities and expand our client base in Kuala Lumpur. You will manage relationships with key accounts, conduct presentations, and tailor proposals to meet client needs.

Collaborating with internal teams, you will ensure smooth delivery of client requirements, monitor market trends, and maintain an active sales pipeline while pursuing growth across our hotel brands and services.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and expand the client base.
• Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key accounts.
• Identify potential clients and generate new sales leads.
• Conduct sales calls, client meetings, presentations, and site visits.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and packages based on client requirements.
• Follow up on enquiries and business opportunities to secure sales.
• Negotiate rates, packages, and commercial terms within company guidelines.
• Monitor sales performance and work towards achieving assigned targets.
• Maintain accurate client information, sales records, and sales pipeline.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Attend networking events, exhibitions, sales activities, and industry events when required.
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth delivery of client requirements.
• Handle client feedback and maintain good customer relationships.
• Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management.
• Support sales campaigns, promotions, and business development activities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

UOA Hospitality’s first flagship is the 150,000 square feet multipurpose built venue Connexion@Nexus in 2013 with an expansion to a total of 200,000 square feet under the rebrand of Connexion Conference & Event Centre (CCEC) spread across two building easily accessible via a linked bridge between CCEC, Nexus and CCEC, The Vertical in 2016.

UOA Hospitality’s development growth also includes VE Hotel & Residence, 427 rooms located at Bangsar South City. UOA Hospitality also manages The Oak Room @ Nexus, Bangsar South City and is the owner for Capri By Fraser, currently managed by Frasers Hospitality. In 2017, UOA Hospitality has diversified its business into co working space with the opening of Komune in Bangsar South. Between 2018 & 2019, a few more will be opened. Also, a co living concept Hotel is in the pipeline, slated to open in August 2019, in Bangsar South.
