Fastrack Car Rental & Holidays Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah is seeking a Sales Executive for tourism and corporate car rental. You will identify new opportunities, build corporate relationships, and present tailored proposals while negotiating terms to maintain profitability.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in sales.
• Experience in car rental, tourism or hospitality.
• Knowledge of Sabah tourism sector.

• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM.
• Fluency in English and Malay.
• Valid driving licence and Kota Kinabalu familiarity.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings/events.

About the role
Fastrack Car Rental & Holidays Sdn Bhd is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Executive - Car Rental (Tourism & Corporate Sector) to join our dynamic team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This is a full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to drive revenue growth within the tourism and corporate car rental sectors. As a Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the expansion of our market presence. This position is based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, and offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospitality and tourism environment where your sales acumen will directly impact organizational success.

Key responsibilities

Identify, develop and cultivate new business opportunities in the tourism and corporate car rental sectors

Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, hotels and tourism operators

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to client requirements

Negotiate rental agreements and pricing structures to achieve competitive rates whilst maintaining profitability

Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets through proactive business development efforts

Manage client inquiries, quotes and booking requests in a timely and professional manner

Conduct site visits and product demonstrations to prospective clients

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the car rental fleet, services and promotional offerings

Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activity and client feedback to inform business strategy

Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure excellent service delivery and client satisfaction

What we're looking for

Proven track record in sales, ideally within the car rental, tourism or hospitality industry

Strong understanding of the tourism and corporate sectors in Malaysia, particularly within Sabah

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly

Results-oriented mindset with demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) systems

Fluency in English and Malay; additional local languages are advantageous

Valid driving licence and familiarity with the Kota Kinabalu tourism landscape

Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail

Flexible approach with willingness to undertake occasional travel for client meetings and events
