Job summary

GIIB Rubber Compound Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of GIIB Holdings Berhad, is seeking a results-driven sales professional to expand the territory. You will establish a strong sales network and product presence while aiming for sales targets, gross margin, and timely collections.

The role emphasizes fieldwork, market insight, and ethical business conduct. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in business or related field and 2–5 years of relevant sales experience, with English and Bahasa Malaysia

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant sales experience.
• Excellent communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience in manufacturing, rubber, chemical, industrial products or B2B sales preferred.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and developing new business.
• Professional appearance when visiting new prospects.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a strong sales network and product presence in the territory.
• Achieve sales targets, gross contribution margin and collections.
• Implement and execute sales strategies per plans by Senior Sales Executive / Team Leader / Sales Manager.
• Support team to achieve results and provide performance updates in meetings.
• Submit customer visit reports and weekly plans with customer information cards.
• Explore SBP & Franchise prospects from assigned territories.
• Spend majority of time in the field to gather market information.
• Maintain professional and ethical business conduct.

Job description

Jointly contribute to the overall sales of the assigned territory by establishing a strong sales network and building up product presence. Accountable for achieving sales targets, gross contribution margin and collection.

Key responsibilities

Implement and execute sales strategies effectively and timely in accordance with pre-approved plans by Senior Sales Executive / Team Leader / Sales Manager

Support team leader/member(s) to achieve team results effectively

Provide sales performance, customer/market information updates and make recommendations to superior in weekly/monthly department meetings

Contribute towards building and maintaining a highly motivated, dynamic and results-oriented sales team

Contribute, support and assist team leader initiatives in effective sales activities

Maintain a reputation as respectable sales personnel who carry out business activities in a professional and ethical manner

Submit customer visit reports, weekly planner and customer info cards

Explore SBP & Franchise prospects from assigned territories

Spend majority of time on field to gather market information

Requirement

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field

Minimum 2–5 years of relevant sales experience

Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken; able to communicate professionally with customers and internal stakeholders

Experience in manufacturing, rubber, chemical, industrial products, or B2B sales is preferred

Proven track record in achieving sales targets and developing new business

Mandarin language skills preferred, especially for dealing with Mandarin-speaking customers

Professional qualification in Sales/Marketing is an added advantage

Formal apparel required while visiting new prospects
