Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Career Wise Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam is seeking a proactive Sales/Business Development professional to identify opportunities in material handling, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, and industrial sectors. You will promote equipment rental, maintenance, and parts while building long-term client relationships.

The role requires Chinese language proficiency, strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
• Experience in sales, business development, industrial equipment, machinery, or logistics preferred.
• Proficiency in Chinese (speaking, reading, writing) for Mandarin customers.
• Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willingness to travel and valid driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in material handling, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, and industrial sectors.
• Promote products and services including equipment rental, maintenance/repair, machinery sales and spare parts.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
• Understand customers' requirements and recommend suitable equipment and service solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations, and service agreements.
• Conduct customer visits, meetings, product demonstrations, and follow-up activities.
• Negotiate pricing and terms per company policy.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs.
• Coordinate with operations, warehouse, technical and finance for timely delivery and satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.

Job description

Identify and develop new business opportunities in the material handling equipment, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, and industrial sectors.

Promote the company's products and services, including equipment rental, maintenance and repair, machinery sales, and spare parts.

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential customers.

Understand customers' operational requirements and recommend suitable equipment and service solutions.

Prepare sales quotations, proposals, presentations, and service agreements.

Conduct customer visits, business meetings, product demonstrations, and follow-up activities.

Negotiate pricing, contractual terms, and commercial arrangements in accordance with company policies.

Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Coordinate with the operations, warehouse, technical, and finance departments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify potential business opportunities.

Follow up on customer payments and outstanding invoices in coordination with the Finance Department.

Maintain accurate customer records, sales reports, and business development activities.

Job Requirements

Minimum SPM, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Previous experience in sales, business development, industrial equipment, machinery, or logistics-related industries is preferred.

Proficiency in Chinese is required, including speaking, reading, and writing, for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking customers and business partners.

Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Strong interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.

Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently.

Willingness to travel and conduct customer visits when required.

Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation is preferred.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and an interest in industrial sales are encouraged to apply
