Job summary

Tayopack Sdn Bhd, a leading PVC, Metallised PVC, OPP, PET & Flexible Packaging Converter in Malaysia, is seeking a Sales Executive to drive growth and strengthen customer relationships. You will identify new business opportunities, manage existing accounts and achieve sales targets in the packaging sector, coordinating with production, customer service and delivery to ensure smooth orders.

• 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in manufacturing, packaging or FMCG.
• Strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Maintain and manage existing customers as assigned by the company.
• Prepare quotations, follow up on sales opportunities and coordinate with customers to secure orders.

• Monitor sales performance and prepare reports for management review.

• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.

Responsible for driving sales growth and maintaining strong customer relationships for Tayopack Sdn Bhd. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing existing client accounts, and achieving sales targets in the packaging industry. The Sales Executive will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction, support marketing activities, and contribute to the company's overall business development strategy.

Key responsibilities

Attend to and respond to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner

Develop new market opportunities to expand company sales and business growth

Maintain and manage existing customers as assigned by the company

Prepare quotations, follow up on sales opportunities and coordinate with customers to secure orders

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business

Monitor sales performance and prepare reports for management review

Achieve sales targets set by the company

Coordinate with internal teams (e.g. Production, Customer Service and Delivery) to ensure smooth order fulfilment

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to support sales strategies

Perform any other duties assigned by management related to sales and business development

Requirements

Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

Minimum 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in manufacturing, packaging, FMCG or related industries

Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Experience in developing new customers, generating leads and expanding business opportunities

Able to handle sales enquiries, prepare quotations, negotiate with customers and follow up sales opportunities

Strong customer follow-up and relationship management skills

Willing to learn product knowledge and understand customer requirements

Able to attend customer meetings and visits when required

Familiarity with sales management systems or ERP will be an added advantage
