Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a high-caliber Sales Engineer to lead new business acquisition for cleanroom AMHS solutions. You will drive multimillion-ringgit bids with tier-1 semiconductor fabs and high-tech manufacturers, blending technical insight with strategic deal-making.

This role requires travel regionally and internationally, collaboration with internal teams, and the ability to articulate system layouts, MES/SCADA interfaces, and integration concepts to senior plant leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or related engineering field.
• Proven track record in B2B technical solution sales or business development within semiconductor, cleanroom automation, or material handling sectors.
• Strong conceptual grasp of factory automation architecture, material flow simulation, and industrial control interfaces (MES/SCADA/PLC).
• Stable career history with success managing long, complex equipment-selling cycles.
• Willingness to travel regionally and internationally for client meetings and fab walkthroughs.

About the Job

You will lead new business acquisition and consultative technical sales for cleanroom Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS), driving multimillion-ringgit project bids with tier-1 semiconductor fabs and high-tech manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and close large-scale AMHS turnkey equipment opportunities across domestic and international accounts.
• Deliver technical pitches on cleanroom automation solutions, including Overhead Hoist Transport (OHT), ASRS stockers, cleanroom conveyors, and Transport Control Systems (TCS).
• Collaborate with internal sales engineers, proposal teams, and project directors to formulate competitive system layouts, cycle-time analyses, and bid proposals.
• Lead high-stakes commercial and technical negotiations directly with plant heads, automation leads, and fab directors.
• Provide high-level technical consultation on factory network interfaces, including basic PLC/SCADA connectivity and MES/TCS software integration.
