Job summary

Optimum Infosolutions (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Business Development professional to onboard F&B merchants onto our Omnicommerce platform. You will deliver compelling demonstrations, negotiate terms, and drive GMV growth while monitoring performance metrics.

The role emphasizes market analysis, merchant relationship management, and identifying upsell opportunities to strengthen our omnichannel solutions in a dynamic market.

Key Responsibilities

1. Merchant Acquisition & Sales

• Identify, prospect, and onboard new F&B merchants to the Omnicommerce platform
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations showcasing the value proposition of solutions
• Negotiate commercial terms and contractual agreements with merchants
• Develop and implement strategies to boost GMV and transaction volume, monitoring key performance metrics

2. Market Analysis & Relationship Management

• Conduct market mapping and competitive analysis to identify high-potential merchant segments
• Offer insights to optimize merchants' omnichannel presence and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
• Act as the main contact for merchants, conduct business reviews, and troubleshoot issues
• Stay informed on F&B trends, competitor activities, and gather merchant feedback for product enhancements
