Soon Chuan Hong Hardware Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Operations Coordinator to manage quotations, take ownership of orders from Sales to Delivery, and oversee stock levels and purchasing. The role requires coordinating warehousing and logistics, liaising with suppliers and customers, and preparing reports and tender documents.

Your duties include ensuring timely delivery, maintaining product knowledge in water reticulation, and supporting management with process improvements.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Fresh graduates welcome.
• Fluency in Hokkien & Cantonese will be an added benefit.
• Familiar with Inventory Management Software will be an added advantage.

Responsabilités

• Manage quotations independently and follow up with customers to secure orders.
• Take ownership of customer orders from Sales Order to Delivery Order, including raising Purchase Orders for items not in stock.
• Monitor stock levels and manage purchasing requirements, including low-stock items.
• Direct and coordinate warehouse and logistics activities from purchase to delivery, ensuring proper communication and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, warehouse and logistics to ensure smooth order fulfilment and handle enquiries at office.
• Prepare product reports, technical documents and relevant certificates, and assist with tenders and tender-related documents.
• Identify recurring operational issues, raise them to management and propose practical improvements, working with the General Manager and Director.
• Develop a strong understanding of our products and water reticulation systems, progressing to take greater responsibility.

Description du poste

Manage quotations independently, follow up with customers and actively work towards securing orders.

Take ownership of customer orders from Sales Order through to Delivery Order and final delivery, including raising Purchase Orders for items required to fulfil orders that are not currently in stock.

Monitor stock levels and manage purchasing requirements, including raising Purchase Orders for low-stock items and items required for confirmed customer orders.

Direct and coordinate warehouse and logistics activities from the purchase of goods through to delivery, ensuring delivery arrangements are properly communicated and carried out according to the agreed schedule.

Coordinate with suppliers, customers, warehouse and internal/external logistics to ensure smooth order fulfilment, and liaise directly with customers visiting our office regarding their enquiries and requirements.

Prepare and provide product reports, technical documents and relevant certificates, and take an active role in the preparation and submission of tenders and tender-related documentation.

Identify recurring operational issues, raise them to management and propose practical improvements where appropriate. Work closely with the General Manager and Director on day-to-day commercial and operational matters.

Develop a strong understanding of our products and water reticulation systems, and progressively take greater responsibility for the products and processes under the role.

Reports to: General Manager and Director

Remuneration Package

Basic Salary: RM 6,300 - 6,700 / month

KPI Incentive: Up to RM 1,000/ month (Monthly KPI Commitment Allowance, achievable monthly)

Working Hours

Fri 8:00am -1:00pm, 2:30pm-6:00pm

Sat 8:00am -1:00pm

Requirement

Fluent in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia

Graduates in relevant subject will be an added advantage

Fluency in Hokkien & Cantonese will be an added benefit

Familiar with Inventory Management Software will be an added advantage

Interest in water reticulation will be an added advantage
