Job summary

Genetec Technology Berhad in Malaysia seeks a Sales Coordinator to assist in quotations, cost estimates, and technical proposals while supporting RFQ/RFI and tender submissions. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and compliant project execution.

You will build strong customer relationships, provide post-sales support, and participate in risk mitigation and project documentation. Occasional travel internationally is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronic / Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and technical proposals.
• Support RFQ, RFI, and tender submissions.
• Coordinate with Design and Development, Project Management, Supplier Quality Engineering, and Procurement teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist in project kick-off meetings and provide technical clarification.
• Maintain customer relationships and provide after-sales support.
• Assist in risk identification and mitigation planning.
• Monitor project quality, compliance, and documentation.
• Ensure proper project documentation including drawings, reports, change orders, and correspondence.
• Assist with sales and business development efforts by delivering technical presentations and strengthening customer relationships.
• Travel internationally when required.

The Sales Coordinator supports quotation preparation, RFQ/RFI/tender activities, and project coordination. The role works closely with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth communication, accurate proposals, and successful project execution in the automation manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and technical proposals

Support RFQ, RFI, and tender submissions

Coordinate with Design and Development (D&D), Project Management, Supplier Quality Engineering, and Procurement teams to ensure smooth project execution, timely delivery, and compliance with technical requirements.

Assist in project kick-off meetings and provide technical clarification

Maintain customer relationships and provide after-sales support

Assist in risk identification and mitigation planning

Monitor project quality, compliance, and documentation

Ensure proper project documentation including drawings, reports, change orders, and correspondence.

Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
