Job summary

Packers Xpress Sdn Bhd is seeking a confident Sales Consultant to join our moving and relocation team. You will manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to sale, tailor solutions, and coordinate with Operations for a smooth handover.

This role emphasizes closing deals, upselling services, and maintaining accurate sales records. Good communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English, with basic IT skills, and the ability to work toward targets in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM, Diploma or Degree in any relevant field.
• Previous experience in sales, business development, customer service or similar role is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply if they have strong communication skills and genuine interest in sales.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Comfortable communicating with customers through calls and WhatsApp.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to prepare quotations and maintain sales records.
• Must be comfortable working with sales targets and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming sales enquiries via WhatsApp, phone, website, social media and other company-generated leads.
• Respond to new enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Identify and understand customers' moving requirements, including inventory, locations, access conditions, moving dates and additional services.
• Recommend suitable moving packages, lorry sizes and services according to the customer’s needs.
• Prepare accurate quotations and proposals based on company pricing and guidelines.
• Actively follow up with potential customers until the enquiry is confirmed, lost or closed.
• Maintain proper records of all leads, quotations, follow-ups and customer communication.
• Convert enquiries and quotations into confirmed sales.
• Upsell and cross-sell additional services such as packing, unpacking, storage, disposal, cleaning, packing materials, lorry rental and other related services.
• Attend sales meetings and report on leads, quotations, follow-ups, conversion, sales pipeline and monthly performance.
• Achieve the individual monthly sales targets and KPIs set by Management.

Packers Xpress is looking for a confident, proactive and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our team.

We provide professional moving and relocation solutions for residential and corporate customers, including house and office moving, packing and unpacking, storage, disposal, cleaning, packing materials, lorry rental and other related services.

This is not an order-taking position. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for managing customers from the initial enquiry until confirmation and handover to Operations. You are expected to understand the customer's requirements, recommend the right solution, follow up consistently and actively work towards closing the sale.

Key Responsibilities

Handle incoming sales enquiries through WhatsApp, phone calls, website enquiries, social media and other company-generated leads.

Respond to new enquiries promptly and professionally.

Identify and understand customers' moving requirements, including inventory, locations, access conditions, moving dates and additional services required.

Recommend suitable moving packages, lorry sizes and services according to the customer’s needs.

Prepare accurate quotations and proposals based on company pricing and guidelines.

Actively follow up with potential customers until the enquiry is confirmed, lost or closed.

Maintain proper records of all leads, quotations, follow-ups and customer communication.

Handle customer objections and negotiate professionally while protecting the company’s pricing and service value.

Convert enquiries and quotations into confirmed sales.

Upsell and cross-sell additional services such as packing, unpacking, storage, disposal, cleaning, packing materials, lorry rental and other related services.

Arrange site visits when necessary and ensure sufficient information is collected before preparing or finalising quotations.

Ensure confirmed customers complete the required documentation, Terms & Conditions and deposit payment before the job is scheduled.

Prepare complete job information and hand over confirmed bookings to the Operations team.

Clearly communicate any special arrangements, access restrictions, additional manpower requirements, fragile items, packing requirements or customer requests to Operations.

Coordinate with Operations and Management when customers require special arrangements or customised services.

Follow up on outstanding customer payments according to company payment terms.

Maintain good relationships with customers and identify opportunities for repeat business and referrals.

Handle customer concerns professionally and escalat matters when necessary.

Maintain an organised sales pipeline and provide accurate updates on potential and confirmed sales.

Attend sales meetings and report on leads, quotations, follow-ups, conversion, sales pipeline and monthly performance.

Achieve the individual monthly sales targets and KPIs set by Management.
