Job summary

AGX Group Berhad in Subang Jaya is seeking a motivated Sales Executive to expand our freight forwarding and logistics business. You will identify opportunities, build relationships with new and existing customers, and promote air/sea/land solutions to meet revenue targets.

The role requires 2–3 years of sales or business development experience in logistics, strong negotiation and communication skills, and willingness to travel for business development activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• 2–3 years of sales or business development experience in logistics.
• Strong knowledge of air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, Incoterms, and logistics operations.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Promote air/sea/land freight, warehousing, customs clearance, and value-added services.
• Prepare quotations and customized logistics solutions.
• Negotiate pricing and service agreements.
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, and Customer Service for shipments.
• Monitor market trends to identify opportunities.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and meet targets.
• Attend meetings and industry events to expand opportunities.
• Record sales activities and customer interactions accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our Subang Jaya office. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and promoting our freight forwarding and logistics services to achieve sales and business growth objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to drive long-term business growth.
• Promote the company's logistics solutions, including air freight, sea freight, land transportation, warehousing, customs clearance, and value-added services.
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and customized logistics solutions to meet customers' requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and service agreements in accordance with company policies.
• Work closely with the Operations, Finance, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth shipment execution and excellent customer experience.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer need to identify new business opportunities.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Keep accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the system.
• Attend customer meetings, networking events, and industry exhibitions to expand business opportunities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Qualification and Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of sales or business development experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
• Strong knowledge of air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, Incoterms, and logistics operations.
• Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
• Strong business development mindset with the ability to identify and secure new customers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Possess a valid driving licence, own transportation, and be willing to travel for business development activities.
