Job summary

Packers Xpress Sdn Bhd is looking for a responsible Lorry Driver cum Mover to support moving and logistics operations in Klang Valley. You will drive company lorries and actively participate in moving tasks, including loading, unloading, and basic dismantling when required.

Experience with commercial vehicles is preferred; good road knowledge of Klang Valley is an advantage. Bahasa Malaysia communication is required; basic English is a plus. Weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Malaysian driving license for lorry category.
• GDL license.
• Experience driving commercial vehicles preferred.
• Experience in moving/logistics/delivery advantageous.
• Good knowledge of Klang Valley roads.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia; basic English advantageous.
• Physically capable of assisting with moving activities.
• Willing to work according to operational/job schedules and weekends/public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drive company lorries to residential, commercial, warehouse and other job locations.
• Actively participate in all moving activities with the moving team.
• Carry, load and unload furniture, household items, office equipment, boxes and other belongings.
• Assist with wrapping and protection of furniture using packing materials.
• Assist with packing and unpacking services when required.
• Assist with basic dismantling and reassembly of furniture when required.
• Secure items inside the lorry to maximise space and minimise movement or damage.
• Handle customers' belongings carefully following procedures.
• Use moving equipment such as trolleys and straps safely.
• Check pickup location before leaving to ensure no items left behind.

Packers Xpress Sdn Bhd is looking for a responsible, disciplined and experienced Lorry Driver to support our moving and logistics operations. The Lorry Driver cum Mover is responsible for safely operating company lorries while also actively participating in moving activities. This is a hands‑on operational position, and candidates must be comfortable with physical work including carrying, loading, unloading, wrapping and arranging customers' belongings.

Key responsibilities

• Drive company lorries to assigned residential, commercial, warehouse and other job locations.
• Actively participate in all moving activities together with the assigned moving team.
• Carry, load and unload furniture, household items, office equipment, boxes and other customer belongings.
• Assist with wrapping and protection of furniture using stretch film, bubble wrap, moving blankets and other appropriate packing materials.
• Assist with packing and unpacking services when required.
• Assist with basic dismantling and reassembly of furniture where required and within the team's capability.
• Properly arrange and secure items inside the lorry to maximise space and minimise movement or damage during transportation.
• Handle customers' belongings carefully and follow the company's handling procedures.
• Use moving equipment such as trolleys, straps and other equipment safely.
• Check the pickup location carefully before leaving to ensure no customer items, tools or company equipment are left behind.

About you

• Possess a valid Malaysian driving licence suitable for the company's lorry category.
• Possess a valid GDL licence.
• Previous experience driving commercial vehicles/lorries is preferred.
• Experience in moving, logistics, delivery or transportation is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of roads within Klang Valley is an advantage.
• Comfortable using navigation applications such as Google Maps/Waze.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia; basic English communication is an advantage.
• Physically capable of assisting with moving activities when required.
• Willing to work according to operational/job schedules.
• Willing to work weekends or public holidays when scheduled.
