Job summary

Region System Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to manage customer relationships, coordinate with internal teams, and support strategic market planning in Malaysia. The role involves handling quotations, order follow-up, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or degree, strong communication skills, and at least 5 years in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree holder in relevant field.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Minimum 5-years of working experience in the manufacturing environment would be an added advantage.
• Preferred language : English, BM or Chinese
• Strong managerial, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work 5 1/2 days (Saturday Alternate Off)

Responsibilities

• Discuss all customer requirements with the customer’s representative and transfer clearly to management and relevant departments.
• Maintain good relationships with existing customers.
• Collect market information for management to conduct strategic planning.
• Interact with new and existing customers to achieve sales targets.
• Involve in sample test runs for new parts from customers.
• Provide technical support and information to solve customer problems.
• Attend and resolve customer complaints to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Prepare quotations and handle invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
• Monitor transportation arrangements and follow up on payment status.
• Liaise with customers and production for urgent parts.
• Prepare data and documents for ISO objectives.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.

• Monitor payment received status and follow up with customers for late payment.
• Liaise with customers and production for arrangement of customers urgent parts.
• Approve invoices, debit notes and credit notes.
• Prepare data and documents for ISO objectives.
• To perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by your superior from time to time
