Job summary

Sumirubber Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Marketing Manager to support the Sales & Marketing Senior Manager in developing and executing sales strategies, budgets, and new customer development plans.

You will lead assigned accounts including overseas customers, distributors and OEM opportunities to achieve sales and margin targets, while coordinating with Production, QA, R&D, Purchasing and Logistics to resolve issues and drive product development.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sales & Marketing Senior Manager in developing and executing sales strategies, sales budgets, direct margin target and new customer development plans.
• Lead and monitor assigned sales accounts/markets, including overseas customers, distributors and OEM opportunities, to achieve sales, margin and customer retention objectives.
• Manage quotations, price revisions, commercial negotiations, customer enquiries and order status.
• Lead cross–functional coordination with Production, Planning, QA, R&D, Purchasing and Logistics to resolve delivery, quality, product development and customer–related issues.
• Drive new customer and new market development by identifying prospects and following opportunities through
• Support development and commercialization of high value-added and niche products by coordinating customer requirements, samples, trials, specifications, pricing and feedback.
• Monitor sales performance, forecasts, customer risks and market trends and prepare management reports.
• Coach and guide Sales & Marketing team members and improve accountability and follow-up discipline.
• Represent the Company at customer visits, exhibitions and business meetings and perform other duties assigned.
