Job summary

Nihon Parkerizing (M) Sdn Bhd in Klang (Bukit Raja) is seeking a dynamic sales/marketing professional to handle customer inquiries, assist with purchases and provide detailed product information, including environmental data. You will coordinate with stores, production and purchasing to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree, strong communication, teamwork, and PC literacy (MS Excel and PowerPoint).

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in related field.
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
• PC literate (MS Excel and Power Point experience is required).
• Good communication & interpersonal skills, initiative, excellent teamwork and hardworking.
• 1-3 years in sales/marketing experience will be added advantage.
• A flexible team player with a proven ability to work successfully in a matrix reporting environment.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to build strong working relationships, either internal and external to the organization.
• Creative and forward thinking.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customer inquiry pertaining to price, delivery schedules and product availability of products selected by customer.
• Assisting customers with purchases and giving them detailed information of products including information products with environmental and pollution levels on products.
• Ensuring the proper handling of goods as meet environmental quality standards and reporting loss and damages to the concerned authorities.
• Assisting in billing and collecting payment.
• Placing orders for replenishment of stock, and filling order forms.
• Making sales reports and analysis for evaluation.
• Effectively organizing and synchronizing work with other departments/sections such as Store, Production and Purchasing.
• Coordinate with customer to ensure on-time delivery.
• Other job assignment requested by superior from time to time.
